Neat or Sloppy – which kind person are you?
In the short essays of “Neat People vs. Sloppy” People written by Suzanne Britt, Britt discusses about two kinds of people, one person being the sloppy and the other being the neat. In Britt, essay she discusses the characteristics of the neat being very organized and lazier. Or the other in hand the “lazy people are meaner than sloppy.” After reading Neat People vs. Sloppy, I describe myself being a neat person.
The neat people are identify as their house being neat and the only thing being sloppy is their trash can. I am a neat person because I follow the same characteristics that the writer Britt mentioned in her essay. Being a neat person, I do not like having clutter around the house. I also never save anything I do not use. I enjoy having everything in order and cannot stand having a mess.
Being a neat person I like to have everything organized. I enjoy cleaning and have everything coordinated such as the clothes in colors and winter clothes separated from the summer clothes. As a neat person I can never leave a job unfinished. I always have to give it the best of my ability because if I do not finish for me it’s like being sloppy. In Britt essay she mentioned how the neat are lazier; however I do not consider myself a lazy person because I love to have the job done as soon as possible and I do not procrastinate.

Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is a holiday that is celebrated around the world. Valentine is a holiday that is supposed to be celebrated with your loved ones and to share the love you have with one another. Although I do not celebrate Valentine’s Day due to my religion, I spent the day with my family in which started joyful and ended in a tragic day.
Family is the most important thing that matters to me, because they are the ones who are there for you, spend Valentine’s Day with my family is the best thing I could ask for. My Valentines morning my family I went to breakfast, as we usually do every Sunday morning. We spent half of our morning in the restaurant catching up on everyone life since we all have hectic schedules.
After breakfast we usually go to the movies and see the latest film. Unfortunately as we were leaving the restaurant on our way to the theaters my mother receives an unexpected call from her aunt in El Salvador. Her aunt mention to her that her great grandmother who is ninety-one years old was ill and that it was necessary for her to visit her grandmother before she passed away. My mother at that moment brought the first flight out to El Salvador.
Once we arrived to the airport my mother told us sorry if this trip had ruined our family day but it was urgent for her to leave in order for her to say goodbye to her grandmother before she passed away. My family and I told her she had nothing to apologize about as long as she went to see her grandmother we were happy she was going to see her and we were sad at the same time that she was passing away. Valentine’s Day is a day that is supposed to be filled of joy of happiness and love in my cases it was not at all filled of joy and happiness but it was a tragic day I will never forget.
